Therapeutic Foam Mattress
The Geo-Mattress® Max, Plus,
Pro, and Wings models are high-value, clinically superior all-foam
mattress replacements intended for facility-wide use in acute care
and long term care settings. All models combine two Span-America
exclusives: Our patented Geo-Matt® design and the unique Heel
Slope® taper.
The clinically proven,
anti-shearing Geo-Matt top surface is configured with more than
800 individually-responsive cells in distinct head, torso, and
foot zones.
The subtle taper of the Heel
Slope effectively re-distributes load along the more
pressure-tolerant lower legs and calves. Delivers peak pressures
at heels 27% lower than the leading competitor.
All four models also feature
vapor barrier, bacteriostatically treated covers. Average mattress
weight 21 Ibs. All models 6" high at center. Max. weight limit 400
Ibs.

The supportive,
raised perimeter (8" high) of our new Geo-Mattress with Wings
cradles the resident, helping prevent injury by discouraging
independent exits from bed and gently urging user away from danger
positions near the edge of the mattress. Fills in the space
between the bottom of the side rail and the mattress surface,
helping to prevent impingement of extremities. All while helping
your facility comply with the latest
restraint reduction legislation.
Instead of the same exposed, hard

Therapeutic Foam Overlay
The #1 selling therapeutic overlay
in the US, Geo-Matt is used by thousands of hospitals and nursing
homes nationwide. It has been proven effective in clinical trials
and studies as an aid in the prevention and treatment of pressure
ulcers.
The top surface is cut using our
patented*
Geo-Matt design, which creates more than 800 individually
responsive foam cells that are anatomically sized to the area of
the body they carry. This zoned design delivers the ideal support
characteristics needed at the head, torso, and lower extremities.
By independently absorbing pressure points, the cells allow the
Geo-Matt to customize its support to the body's natural curvature
while minimizing the effects of pressure and
shearing. In addition, Geo-Matt's exclusive "Ring-of-Air® "
feature helps to ventilate the surface, channeling heat away from
the patient to minimize perspiration build-up.
Standard size is 34" wide x 72"
long x 3.5" high. Available with tough, flexible
Soft Skin® sleeve for protection from fluids. Other
configurations, sizes, and covers are available to meet the
specialized needs of the O.R., long term care and
